      What are the security options on my phone?

      Your XT1920DL offers several security options. You can choose to set up a screen lock, a fingerprint, Smart Lock, or a SIM card lock.

      To set up a screen lock, follow these steps:

      1. From the main screen, slide the screen up to display your apps.
      2. Locate and tap the "Settings" icon.
      3. Locate and tap "Security & location."
      4. Tap "Screen lock."
      5. Tap the desired option and follow the prompts on your screen.

      To set up a fingerprint, follow these steps:

      1. From the main screen, slide the screen up to display your apps.
      2. Locate and tap the "Settings" icon.
      3. Locate and tap "Security & location."
      4. Tap "Fingerprint."
      5. Tap "NEXT."
      6. Tap the desired backup screen lock method. You will be prompted to require your backup screen lock method when your phone starts up.
      7. Tap "YES" or "NO" to continue. Follow the the prompts on your screen to set up your backup screen lock method and fingerprint.

      To set up Smart Lock, you will first need to set up a screen lock. Once you have set up your screen lock, follow these steps:

      1. From the main screen, slide the screen up to display your apps.
      2. Locate and tap the "Settings" icon.
      3. Locate and tap "Security & location."
      4. Locate and tap "Smart Lock."
      5. Enter your Pattern, PIN, or Password to continue.
      6. Tap "GOT IT" to continue.
      7. Tap the desired Smart Lock option. Then, follow the prompts on your screen to complete your Smart Lock setup.

      To set up a SIM card lock, follow these steps:

      1. From the main screen, slide the screen up to display your apps.
      2. Locate and tap the "Settings" icon.
      3. Locate and tap "Security & location."
      4. Locate and tap "SIM card lock."
      5. Tap "Lock SIM card."
      6. Read the SIM Lock warning. Then, tap "OK" to continue.
      7. Enter the default PIN 1111 or 1234. Then, tap "OK."
      8. Tap "Change SIM PIN."
      9. Enter the current PIN, then tap "OK."
      10. Enter your new PIN, then tap "OK."
      11. Enter your new PIN again to confirm, then tap "OK."
