How do I pair Bluetooth devices?
Bluetooth is often used to connect devices like your phone to a wireless headset or car stereo.
To pair your smartphone or tablet with a Bluetooth enabled device, follow the steps below:
- Tap the "Settings" icon located on the main screen.
- Tap "Bluetooth."
- Make sure the device you are pairing to is on and in "Pairing Mode."
- If necessary, press the "Bluetooth" slider ON.
- Your phone will begin searching automatically. Then, tap the name of the desired device and wait for the devices to pair.
- You may be prompted to enter a password, which may be displayed on your other device if it has a screen, or listed in the User Guide.
- Note: A common default PIN for Bluetooth devices is 0000.
